End-User License Agreement (EULA)
* You should carefully read and have to accept all of the following terms and conditions before purchasing, installing and using Simple File Annotator (the "SOFTWARE", the "APPLICATION", the "PROGRAM").
* This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or an entity) and Przemysław Seneczko (the "AUTHOR").
* By installing (in case of installation file) and running (in case of portable package) the SOFTWARE, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this EULA.
1. The license grants you right to use Simple File Annotator application.
2. The license distinguishes two types of usage:
2. 1. Personal use: an individual using the application for their own, personal purposes on their own computers. In this case, the license grants you right to install and use the software on up to three workstations owned by you.
2. 2. Corporate use: an entity (corporation, institution, organization) using the application for their business (collective) purposes. In this case, the license grants you right to install the software on single workstation owned by the entity and use it by any of the entity's employees or members.
2. 3. The workstation is defined as follows: Microsoft® Windows® operating system running on physical computer or inside virtual machine manager software.
3. Simple File Annotator computer program is exclusive property of Przemysław Seneczko. Copyright by Przemysław Seneczko. Rights to make copies and modify the software are exclusively reserved for Przemysław Seneczko. User is granted only rights that are explicitly expressed within EULA.
4. The license owner is permitted to:
4. 1. Use the program for any purposes, including commercial, if the permitted workstation number condition is satisfied.
4. 2. Make one backup copy of the program's executable and its installation package file.
4. 3. Use the software under license conditions indefinitely.
5. The license owner is NOT permitted to:
5. 1. Copy the program without written permission of the author.
5. 2. Share the program with anyone, who is not owning the license.
5. 3. Reverse engineer, decompile, decrypt, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the program.
5. 4. Make any modifications of the application's executable file.
5. 5. Install the program on the number of workstations exceeding license conditions.
5. 6. Redistribute the program and any of its components.
5. 7. Resell the license to use the program.
6. Disclaimer
The author, Przemysław Seneczko takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any errors and damages caused by usage of the program, for any data loss or damage to computer hardware running the program, for any results of failures that occurred while running the program. The author does not warrant, that the software is error-free or will operate without interruption. You use the software at your own risk. The author guarantees that has done his best to ensure, that the application works correctly on the systems meeting software and hardware specifications described in the documentation.
7. The licensee hereby undertakes to make any necessary efforts to prevent unauthorized copying and using of the program. Are the aforementioned terms and conditions not respected, the agreement is considered broken.
8. Exceptions for demonstrative (the "DEMO") version:
8. 1. Demo version is fully free of charge, however does impose functional limitations.
8. 2. The following EULA conditions do NOT concern the demo version: 2, 5.1, 5.2, 5.5, 5.6, 7.
8. 3. The demo version may be freely used and redistributed without any restrictions, if only it remains unmodified.
9. Simple File Annotator is protected by copyright law and international treaties. Unauthorized distribution of this program, or any portion of it, may result in severe civil and criminal penalties, and will be prosecuted to the maximum extent possible under the law.
10. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by the author.
